Once again, get Halo 3 if you have Xbox Live and don't give a fuck about the storyline; or if you have the other two games. If neither case suits you, you might not want to get it, although I guess you could live through the campaign if you read the manual.

If you have Xbox Live, but AVOID if you don't:
-Gears of War 2 [unless you have played Gears Of War 1, of course. Then feel free to buy it.]
-Left 4 Dead [Great Co-op and VS, and the single player is the same thing, but with AIs for team-mates]
If you Don't have Xbox Live, but might want to avoid if you like seeing the outside world or Xbox Live:
-Assassin's Creed
-Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
